Zuken Inc. (Yokohama, Japan; President and Representative Director: Makoto Kaneko; hereafter, “Zuken”) and YDC Corporation (Fuchu, Tokyo, Japan; President and Representative Director: Teruyoshi Minaki; hereafter, “YDC”) have reached an agreement in which Zuken will take over YDC’s CAD and PDM operations (CADVANCE business). In accordance with the agreement, YDC will transfer their CADVANCE business operations to Zuken on July 1, 2015, and the Zuken Group will receive relevant employees and assets.
YDC’s CADVANCE product series, which offers CAD and PDM solutions, as well as Zuken’s CR series, have provided many long years of support in Japan as domestic printed circuit board design CAD systems aimed at optimizing electronic design environments.
Moving forward, Zuken will take over sales, customer service and maintenance operations related to YDC’s CADVANCE product line. By continuously making their rich array of software, services, and consulting knowledge and resources in the manufacturing industry available to CADVANCE-series users, the Zuken Group will pursue measures to further strengthen the bonds of trust that YDC has already established with their customers.
